Welcome to the Adelaide Sea Dragons website. This site will be regularly updated to provide information and updates for our members, and also to promote the club and dragon boating to the public.
Dragon boating is the world's fastest growing water sport. From its origins in China over 2000 years ago, it is now a major participation sport in more than 56 countries in the world, and enjoyed by 50 million people as a highly competitive sport or a pleasurable social recreation. The Adelaide Sea Dragons can trace its roots back to 1986 (when dragon boat racing began in SA) and it has now developed into a strong club that competes in all categories of racing.
